Location: Mothers on the Move, 928 Intervale Ave, BronxBrooklyn South:Brooklyn North:PPA continues to work on organizing self-defense classes. We have plans for an initial class, but if you have contacts with people who would be able to help provide trainings or space for trainings, please let us know.

Reclaim MLK Day: Mon Jan 16, 2017:  FB Event: Joint action with our sister organization NYC Shut It Down; 7pm at 125th Street & Lexington Ave. in Harlem. This action will be part of a nationwide effort to reclaim MLK Day by the Movement for Black Lives.

On July 17, 2014, Ramsey Orta captured on camera the extra-judicial murder of Eric “Big E” Garner by the racist and corrupt NYPD. Turning over that footage to the New York Daily News, created an international firestorm and made Ramsey a target of the NYPD.
